Nix led efficient opening drive with TD in preseason debut under Webb.

In the Broncos' first preseason game against Green Bay, Nix huddled his teammates and executed an efficient opening drive that scored a touchdown on the sixth play. The source notes Nix 'faked a throw then handed off to running back RJ Harvey' on one play, then 'fled the pocket and ran to his right, throwing while airborne to receiver Courtland Sutton' on another, and 'signaled with his left hand then hit Waddle deep downfield' on the third-and-5 play. Nix told reporters: 'Just very smooth and get in and out of the huddle and put us in a good situation. You want to finish every drive with a touchdown and so to do that for the first one to start the game, that was good.'
