Zamir White was acquired by the Saints as insurance for their running back room after Devin Neal suffered a preseason injury and Alvin Kamara is expected to miss at least one month. White, a fifth-year running back and former 2022 fourth-round pick, has logged 736 rushing yards (3.7 yards per carry) and 152 receiving yards on 25 receptions over his career with the Las Vegas Raiders. The trade gives White a chance to compete for a roster spot on a relatively unhealthy Saints running back room.
