Moore ran a flat route from the backfield on Dropback 2 in a Dragon (slant/flat) concept out of split backfield look. The Broncos showed man coverage pre-snap, which would have left Moore covered by a linebacker; Love was expected to wait for the LB to clear the window then throw to Watson. However, the Broncos mixed coverage with the LB holding in place to watch Love while the safety took Moore out of the backfield, leaving a window for Love but one he had to keep open.
