Demercado replaced Walker on the opening drive for third down and then took all of the RB touches on the second and third series. The preseason plan doesn't mean much; Demercado is a better real-life player than Brashard Smith but is just a passing-down back. Emmett Johnson is still the backup actually worth rostering in fantasy, even if he may technically be No. 3 on the depth chart.
