Daniels took just three snaps in Detroit in his first uniform appearance since December, attempting one pass in two dropbacks. The 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year was under pressure on his first two plays in David Blough's new offense, dirting an attempt to the right on the first snap and taking a sack on the second. His day ended with a third-and-20 handoff. With three weeks until the season opener in Philadelphia, Daniels in Washington's new-look attack remains one of the biggest unknowns league-wide, as Saturday provided barely a tease of what the 2026 campaign will look like.
