Brooks played for the Bengals' first five drives and out-snapped all other Cincy backs 26-9 before leaving the game for good. He turned five touches into 36 yards. Perine is the clear RB2 and should have a stand-alone role after Chase Brown gets his touches; if Chase Brown were to miss time, Perine would likely split work with Brooks.
