ArticleNY Giants’ WR Malik Nabers sheds the red jersey, takes step toward Week 1
From the article
After wide receiver Malik Nabers took another step forward on Monday in his recovery from a torn ACL, New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh said it is 'reasonable' to think Nabers has a chance to play in the Giants' Sept. 13 season-opener against the Dallas Cowboys. In a shells practice with little contact, Nabers was on the field participating in team drills without a red, non-contact jersey for the first time. Unofficially, Nabers took 13 reps, some in 11-on-11 and some in 7-on-7. He caught six passes from Jaxson Dart, Jameis Winston, and Brandon Allen.

Nabers clears red jersey, takes 13 reps; Harbaugh says Week 1 start is 'reasonable'
WR Malik Nabers cleared for team drills without red non-contact jersey for the first time in ACL recovery; took 13 reps (11-on-11 and 7-on-7), caught 6 passes from Dart, Winston, and Allen with best catch a diving comeback route from Allen in front of cornerback Art Green; head coach John Harbaugh said it is 'reasonable' to think Nabers has a chance to play in Giants' Sept. 13 season-opener against Dallas Cowboys; Harbaugh noted Nabers is 'strong' and 'in a good place' with rehab progressing 'really well,' though stopped short of predicting Week 1 readiness.
