Mims signed by Eagles for running back depth and preseason reps.

The 23-year-old running back signed by the Eagles as a depth/practice fill; he has logged 108 offensive snaps and 71 special teams snaps over three seasons in the NFL. Mims most recently spent time with the Minnesota Vikings, who signed him in late July before waiving him two weeks later. Like Mahoney, Mims is arriving in Philly to help fill reps in practice and the preseason finale.
