Nabers progresses in ACL recovery, takes reps without red jersey; Week 1 return deemed reasonable.

New York Giants WR Malik Nabers took another step forward in his recovery from a torn ACL on Monday, participating in team drills without a red non-contact jersey for the first time. In a shells practice with little contact, Nabers unofficially took 13 reps (some in 11-on-11 and some in 7-on-7), catching six passes from Jaxson Dart, Jameis Winston, and Brandon Allen. His best catch was a diving play on a comeback route from Allen in front of cornerback Art Green. Giants head coach John Harbaugh said it is "reasonable" to think Nabers has a chance to play in the Giants' Sept. 13 season-opener against the Dallas Cowboys, though Harbaugh stopped short of predicting Week 1 readiness.
