It's a little more tenuous than the previous week and I'm questioning whether or not he's a roster certainty. However, he's still in year two of a third-round rookie contract, which means his cap charge is all of $1.4 million this season. Basically, if Milroe is let go it has a lot more to do with needing his spot for a position of greater need.

Milroe's roster spot depends on positional need, not cap savings.

Milroe's roster status is tenuous entering the preseason finale. While he's in year two of a third-round rookie contract with only a $1.4 million cap charge, the source notes his spot on the 53-man roster is more dependent on positional need than cap relief; if cut, it would be to free space for higher-priority positions rather than for salary reasons.
