Wayne was having a strong camp before the preseason game against the Raiders, but after a flurry of WR additions (Zay Jones, Sterling Shepard, Kayshon Boutte), there is no possible avenue for him to make the 53-man roster. Despite ascending throughout camp, he couldn't shine in either preseason game and wasn't enough to prevent GM Nick Caserio from bringing in multiple WR options.
