Hurts delivered a strike to DeVonta Smith on a comeback. Hurts found DeVonta again, this time in stride on a dig, to beat a trailing Woolen. Hurts threw a pick six to Riq Woolen on a ball intended for DeVonta along the right sideline.

Smith had mixed results: he delivered a strike on a comeback route, beat a trailing Woolen in stride on a dig for significant YAC, but also was the intended target on two incompletions—one a pick-six to Woolen on a right sideline route and another deep ball that was underthrown and broken up by Quinyon Mitchell. He also had a pass knocked down by Mitchell on a slant.
