ESPN Fantasy Football on Bucky Irving

Irving is the guy; zone scheme and health should help despite Gainwell.

Irving is still the guy in the Buccaneers backfield; the return to more of a wide zone run scheme like the team had in 2024 under Liam Coen should benefit him, along with improved health. In limited action in his second preseason game (in which the starters played two series), he had 14 yards on three rushes. Kenny Gainwell saw one rushing attempt. Mike Clay is tempering expectations for Irving in fantasy, though he wouldn't shy away from Irving this year because of Gainwell's presence. The team also has some pony packages where you'll see both on the field at the same time.
