Yahoo Sports NFL on Tyler Scott

Scott's fourth-down catch and near-miss deep ball suggest practice-squad viability.

Receiver who played for the Chicago Bears in 2023 and 2024 has made an impression in preseason that could land him on the practice squad if cut and clears waivers. Against the Saints, Scott caught a key fourth-down pass from Stetson Bennett and just missed coming down with a deep pass. The Rams are set at receiver with Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith, and rookie CJ Daniels, making Scott's path to the roster unlikely but his practice-squad candidacy viable.
