Tracy's roster spot is tenuous heading into 2026 after a shaky preseason. Despite posting at least 740 rushing yards in each of his first two seasons with a cumulative 74.0 PFF rushing grade, he produced a 40.0 overall PFF grade in the preseason thanks to allowing a sack and big hit on Jaxson Dart in Week 1 and fumbling untouched in the red zone in Week 2. The Giants signed Najee Harris as depth behind Cam Skattebo before the second preseason game, complicating Tracy's role. While he could still make the roster if the team retains four running backs, his spot seems tenuous, especially with Devin Singletary (75.0 PFF receiving grade) also shining in August.
