Caldwell gets preseason finale reps after sitting out first two games.

Undrafted rookie quarterback Matthew Caldwell will get playing time in the Rams' final preseason game against the Chargers after not seeing the field in the first two games. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed that Caldwell will play Thursday alongside Ty Simpson, creating a three-quarterback rotation that will likely limit or eliminate playing time for fourth-year backup Stetson Bennett. The Rams plan to carry three quarterbacks on the initial 53-man roster.
