Williams' late-season surge was scheme-driven; he's undervalued at current ADP.

Pat Fitzmaurice notes Williams has been his most frequently drafted player and cautions against writing off his late-season 2025 surge as merely a byproduct of Sam LaPorta's back injury. Williams' strong finish was more attributable to Lions head coach Dan Campbell taking over playcalling and dialing up easy-button throws to Williams closer to the line of scrimmage to let him create after the catch. From Week 10 on, Williams was WR9 in half-point PPR, right behind Amon-Ra St. Brown with less than a point per game separating them. Williams has averaged 11.0 yards per target each of the last two years. The Lions play a lot of indoor games this year; their shaky secondary could lead to track meets. Fitzmaurice concludes Williams is a terrific player who falls too far in almost every fantasy draft.
