T.J. Watt signed a three-year, $123 million extension last offseason that ties him to Pittsburgh through 2028. The Steelers' defensive scheme features an odd front similar to Wisconsin's, where Watt thrived in college. With Watt, Alex Highsmith, and Nick Herbig all on the roster, the Steelers will commit $42 million in cap space to Watt, more than $20 million to Highsmith, and around $25 million to Herbig when Herbig's contract hits the cap in full next year.
