Willis lands $67.5M Dolphins deal with familiar offensive system from Packers

Willis, a 2022 third-round pick from Liberty University, signed a three-year, $67.5 million deal with the Dolphins after parting ways with Tua Tagovailoa. After two unsuccessful seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Willis caught on with the Green Bay Packers, where he shined in relief duty for an injured Jordan Love during the 2024 and 2025 campaigns. The Dolphins believe the similarities between Green Bay's offense and the system run by Mike Shanahan disciple Bobby Slowik will help Willis continue his ascent, though he remains an unfinished product getting his next crack at a starting job in the NFL.
