Rodriguez graded well in that role last season on the Commanders, and he was more of a true bellcow under coach Liam Coen when they were together at Kentucky a few years ago. Coen clearly values Rodriguez's consistent, powerful style, and the way he's explained the backfield has me perking my ears up. At one point this offseason, Coen said he's looking for "efficiency" for his running back room, and in the follow up to that, he called Rodriguez "efficient" and the type of guy to churn out those four, six, eight, 10-yard runs.

Positive signalSleeper

Rodriguez's 45% draft rate undervalues his bellcow upside and Tuten injury insurance.

Rodriguez (Jaguars, Yahoo ADP 130) is a goal-line thumper to complement explosive runner Bhayshul Tuten and pass protector LeQuint Allen. He graded well in that role last season on the Commanders and was more of a true bellcow under coach Liam Coen at Kentucky. Coen values Rodriguez's consistent, powerful style and has called him "efficient" and the type of guy to churn out four, six, eight, 10-yard runs. Tuten is faster in a straight line and sits in Round 5 ADP, while Rodriguez gets drafted in just 45% of Yahoo leagues—a gap that is too wide in half PPR. If Tuten misses time or proves unworthy of touches, Rodriguez can do a "This Year's Javonte Williams" impression or a Jamaal Williams-like goal-line role.
