Turf Show Times on Tutu Atwell

Atwell may ease rookie C.J. Daniels' transition, but his underutilization history raises questions.

The source suggests one charitable rationale for the Atwell trade: getting him on the field early in 2026 could ease the transition for rookie receiver C.J. Daniels, as rookie receivers are notoriously volatile. However, the source acknowledges this is speculative and notes the Snead-McVay brain trust deserves the benefit of the doubt, even if it's fair to raise an eyebrow at adding back a player the creative Rams offense couldn't use consistently for the last five years.
