Yahoo Sports NFL on Jordan Waters

Waters picked up 19 yards on a run; competing with Connors for RB role.

Waters helped carry the load on the ground for the Rams in the preseason game, picking up a solid 19-yard run as the third quarter wound down. The source notes both Waters and fellow RB Dean Connors looked decent and comparable, though neither were exceptional as both were stuffed on goal line carries early in the game. With Jarquez Hunter traded to Miami, Waters is expected to compete for the void in the Rams running back room.
