I'm going to tell you how aggressive I am on O'Marion Hampton... I think he's going to finish the year as the running back three... Mike McDaniel is the master of the outside zone... Hampton is going to go nuts this year.

RB8 ADP projected to finish RB3 with Herbert's arm unlocking McDaniel's system.

Jim Coventry is extremely aggressive on O'Marion Hampton, ranking him running back eight in ADP but projecting him to finish as running back three. Hampton is a natural outside-zone runner who fits perfectly with Mike McDaniel's system. McDaniel struggled the past two years because Tua Tagovailoa's weak arm forced defenses to pack the middle, neutering the offense. With Justin Herbert's arm talent, defenses cannot sleep, and Hampton will thrive. Miami upgraded the offensive line (Rayshon Slater and Joe Walt returning, interior line addressed) and will employ heavy personnel (22 personnel with two running backs and two tight ends, plus three-tight-end looks with Alec Ingle, Charlie Kohler, and Njoku). Hampton broke his ankle but still averaged 15.9 PPR points per game upon return.
