He has speed (ran a 4.4 40 at the Combine), but we didn't get a chance to see him open it up last week. He had a few snaps running deep this week... he shows a solid ability to stack the corner when he gets over the top... In the shorter area, he shows some really nice snap at the top of his routes to create separation... This week saw him in the slot a bit more, and he looked good when put there.

Positive signalRole

Neyor's improved speed, route sharpness, and slot versatility show well-rounded development.

Neyor showed improved speed and route-running in Week 2 preseason. After working primarily as a possession receiver close to the line in Week 1, he had snaps running deep this week and displayed solid ability to stack the corner over the top, though not quite as explosive as Sturdivant. He also showed nice snap at the top of shorter routes to create separation. Blocking form improved from Week 1, moving away from arm-wrapping technique. Worked more from the slot in Week 2 and looked good there; if blocking continues to improve, slot work could be a strong fit. Overall demonstrates a well-rounded skillset with 4.4 40-yard dash speed from the Combine.
