Royer projected to be cut; personal issues unclear, high hopes unfulfilled.

The source projects Royer will be cut from the 53-man roster at tight end. The coaching staff had high hopes for him, but he hasn't been placed on any list yet. He could end up on the final roster, then be added to some sort of list, and then get back one guy they wanted to keep, as has happened before. Nobody but the front office seems to know what personal issues Royer is dealing with.
