Gabriel's 12-of-15, 186-yard, 3-TD preseason start shows higher floor than Green.

Gabriel started the Browns' final preseason game against New England and completed 12 of 15 passes for 186 yards with three touchdowns, demonstrating solid performance. The source notes Gabriel brings experience from playing at multiple college programs and appearing in several games during the 2025 season. Gabriel has the higher floor of the two quarterbacks competing for a roster spot, though the source suggests the younger Green is more likely to secure the third QB role due to higher developmental upside.
