Positive signalRole

Steele's preseason receiving dominance (14 rec, 136 yards, 2 TD) makes a roster case despite weak rushing.

Steele led the Eagles in preseason receiving with 14 receptions for 136 yards and 2 TDs, far outpacing other receivers (Cooper 5 rec/65 yards, Smartt 7 rec/47 yards, Covey 5 rec/44 yards); however, his 21 rushing attempts yielded only 59 yards (2.8 avg). The source suggests the Eagles may envision him in a fullback role or keep him as RB4 behind Barkley, Bigsby, and Shipley; if he doesn't stick in Philly, he should find a landing spot elsewhere.
