Will Sheppard was the next most productive receiver... he showed up against the Cardinals in a big way. He caught three passes for 26 yards and a score, but his real highlight was an 81-yard punt return for his second touchdown of the evening. If big plays carry weight in roster competitions, no wide receiver made a bigger one than that. Sheppard finished the preseason with 10 catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

Sheppard's 81-yard punt return TD was the biggest single play by any Packers receiver in preseason.

Sheppard finished the preseason with 10 catches for 81 yards and 2 TDs, including an 81-yard punt return TD against the Cardinals. The source notes he is smaller than Sturdivant and Neyor, which may have caused roster watchers to pencil him in behind bigger-bodied counterparts, but his big-play production—particularly the 81-yard punt return—was the most impactful single play by any Packers receiver in the preseason competition.
