Jackson's five catches for 94 yards bolster his practice squad case despite 53-man roster longshot status.

Jackson led the Lions with five catches for 94 yards in the preseason finale against Indianapolis, demonstrating explosiveness and stellar hands. Despite the outstanding performance, he remains a longshot to make the 53-man roster due to limited special teams value (coverage and return skills). However, the source believes Jackson made a strong case for the practice squad, noting that none of Dominic Lovett, Tarik Black, Tom Kennedy, or Malik Cunningham have made this type of impact as a receiver. In the event of an offensive injury, he could provide modest production.
