Williams' two-TD preseason finale and burst flashes make him a practice squad stash candidate.

Williams, signed only a few weeks ago, has quickly made an impact in preseason. He had a touchdown run against the Bengals and finished the preseason finale with 57 yards on nine carries and two short-yardage touchdown rushes. He flashed serious burst and power, burning the Colts defense on multiple occasions with credit to solid offensive line performance. While there is likely no space for Williams on the 53-man roster, he could be a valuable player to stash on the practice squad.
