Browning cut by Bucs after losing QB2 job to undrafted Jalon Daniels.

Jake Browning has been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being signed early in free agency to serve as Baker Mayfield's backup. The 30-year-old spent the previous five seasons in Cincinnati as Joe Burrow's backup, starting 10 career games. The Bucs gave him $400,000 in guaranteed money at signing. If he clears waivers, he could return to the practice squad as Tampa's third QB on gamedays.
