Redman was acquired by Green Bay as a reserve tight end prospect; he is 6'6", 263 pounds with a 4.95-second 40-yard dash and minimal college production, fitting the mold of a true Y in-line tight end. He will likely serve as a spot-saver for Luke Musgrave's role while Musgrave recovers from a neck injury and begins the season on the PUP list; Tucker Kraft is expected to be on a pitch count for roughly half the season following ACL recovery.
