Broncos waive Schrader; unlikely to challenge Badie for roster spot.

The Denver Broncos waived running back Cody Schrader after he was claimed off waivers in December and signed a futures contract in January. Schrader had brief stints with the 49ers, Rams, Jaguars, and Texans before joining Denver. The source noted that while Schrader showed promise in preseason, he cannot challenge Tyler Badie for a regular season roster spot if an injury occurs, and the source would only support seeing him on the practice squad this season.
