Smith was a workhorse for the University of Nebraska last season, averaging 24.8 touches a game. He rolled up 1,821 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns in 12 games for the Cornhuskers last year. Although he won't have stand-alone value as long as Walker is healthy, Walker is a worthwhile selection in fantasy drafts.

Smith third in Chiefs' RB rotation; limited fantasy value behind Walker and Johnson.

Smith, a workhorse for Nebraska last season who averaged 24.8 touches per game and rolled up 1,821 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns in 12 games, was third in the Chiefs' RB rotation in the preseason finale. With Demercado waived, Smith appears to be behind Emmett Johnson on the depth chart and won't have stand-alone fantasy value as long as Kenneth Walker III is healthy.
