Despite entering camp as a question mark, Daniel Jones has provided quarterback stability that teammates have appreciated. Tight end Mo Alie-Cox stated the biggest difference this year was that the pass game was way more efficient, attributing it to working with one quarterback all camp. Receiver Josh Downs added that Jones looks so good in practice that he forgot about Jones' prior injury. Coach Shane Steichen was very complimentary after the Tuesday joint practice against the Patriots, saying he was pleased with the whole operation, communication at the line of scrimmage, going to the right spot with the ball, and the O-line protecting for him. Steichen has also said Jones will not play in preseason games anytime soon.
