Sports Illustrated reporter Noah Compton noted that Taylor could not get anything going, with the Colts' offense running to the left side behind Quenton Nelson but failing to net positive results, and the same result occurred when they rushed up the middle or outside. Taylor did not play in the team's preseason game against the Falcons. However, Taylor recently signed a new deal and had a touchdown in red-zone drills during the joint practice session.
