Berrios to handle punt returns and kickoff duties after Austin's ACL injury.

After being cut from the Giants' initial 53-man roster on Sunday, Berrios was signed to the practice squad one day later. With Calvin Austin sidelined by a season-ending torn ACL, Berrios figures to be the primary punt returner and part of the primary kickoff return duo with Deonte Banks. The Giants can elevate him from the practice squad up to three times before adding him to the 53-man roster, and are expected to use those elevations. Berrios enters his eighth season with 11.3 yards per punt return (100 career attempts), 24.9 yards per kickoff return (91 attempts), and 140 career pass receptions.
