JJ Zachariason projects the realistic outcome is Ferguson will be a valuable piece for an offense that loves heavy personnel, but consequential targets will be sporadic as McVay plays chess through a regular season; Zachariason would rather roster Isaiah Likely, Chig Okonkwo and maybe even Juwan Johnson before Ferguson because he's risk-averse, given the offense also features Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, 2026 second-round pick Max Klare, and red-zone weapons like Davante Adams.
