Joly, a fifth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, showed off his speed on an 88-yard touchdown reception during Denver's final preseason game. However, the Broncos didn't see enough from the rookie to justify keeping him, waiving him as part of final roster cuts while keeping seventh-round rookie Dallen Bentley. The Dolphins claimed the NC State product on waivers, giving him a chance to battle for a role in what looks like a wide-open tight end room.
