No. 8 ranking; second ACL tear limited him to 3 games in 2025.

Bosa dropped to No. 8 in ESPN's rankings after a torn ACL (his second career ACL tear) cost him all but three games in 2025. Several voters acknowledged he would still be in their top five if healthy. Before the injury, he posted a 21.6% pass rush win rate with two sacks in limited action. Scouts praised his "best speed-to-power move in the NFL," noting he "gets offensive tackles on their heels, and he pushes right through them." Bosa is the first 49er with multiple 15-sack seasons since 1982 and has 64.5 career sacks (third in franchise history behind Bryant Young and Charles Haley).
