Former third-round pick Jalin Hyatt, cut on Sunday when the team reached the 53-man roster limit, will return to the New York Giants as part of their practice squad. The Giants traded up in the 2023 NFL Draft to select Hyatt after he won the Fred Belitnikoff Award as the nation's top wide receiver as a member of the Tennessee Volunteers. Hyatt's time with the Giants has been a disappointment. In three seasons, he has just 36 receptions for 470 yards and no touchdowns. Hyatt has barely played the past two seasons, catching just 13 balls.
