Thomas explosive: 97-yard TD, 5 catches, 140 yards; Hester-like return ability.

Rookie skill position player set the world on fire in lone preseason action with 97-yard touchdown reception on first offensive play from scrimmage; finished game with five receptions on five targets for 140 yards including multiple impressive pure-hands catches; demonstrated refined route running, willing blocking, and impressive tempo on routes for additional separation; return ability showed shades of Devin Hester with vision and instincts that will be severely underrated.
