The New Orleans Saints are adding more experience to their practice squad, as they officially signed wide receiver Cedric Tillman and tight end Stone Smartt on Tuesday. Tillman gives the Saints an intriguing depth option at wide receiver. The six-foot-three receiver was originally selected by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Tennessee. He spent three seasons in Cleveland, appearing in 38 games with 19 starts and recording 71 receptions for 833 yards and five touchdowns. Last season, Tillman caught 21 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games. His size and experience could make him an interesting developmental piece for New Orleans, particularly with the release of Kevin Austin Jr. earlier this week.
