FantasyPros Articles on Christian Watson
From the article
Watson returned from a torn ACL last season and still averaged 13.2 fantasy points over his final 10 games, production that would have ranked WR19 over a full season... at WR29, he's one of my favorite league-winning bets on the board.
STACKED’s take
Watson at WR29 offers WR19 pace post-ACL with 200+ vacated targets and red-zone opportunity.
James Emrick-Wilson is completely in on Christian Watson at WR29 as a league-winning bet. Watson returned from a torn ACL last season and averaged 13.2 fantasy points over his final 10 games (WR19 pace over a full season), and Green Bay handed him $110 million while letting Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks walk. The Packers were 23rd in plays and 27th in pass attempts last season, but with Josh Jacobs suspended and a defense that could struggle, Jordan Love may finally throw more. Green Bay had the 7th-lowest pass rate inside the 10 (41.9%) and 3rd-lowest inside the 5 (31.6%) without Jacobs, suggesting red-zone opportunity expansion. At WR29, the injury risk is already baked in.
