Chris Godwin is woefully mispriced for a WR1. From 2025 weeks 13-18, he posted a 16.8% target share, 1.88 yards per route run, and a 21.2% first-read rate; while in his 2024 season, he was on pace for a monster 122-1,448-14 line

Thrasher: Godwin's WR38 ADP undervalues 2024 pace (122-1,448-14) with healthier Mayfield.

Avery Thrasher argues Chris Godwin is woefully mispriced for a WR1. From 2025 weeks 13-18, Godwin posted a 16.8% target share, 1.88 yards per route run, and a 21.2% first-read rate. In his 2024 season, he was on pace for a monster 122-1,448-14 line prior to his week 7 season-ending injury, and that was with Mike Evans on the team. Tampa Bay now pairs Baker Mayfield (who should be healthy and entering a contract year with a chip on his shoulder) with Zac Robinson (who has a Sean McVay/Rams connection with Baker) on a team offense projected for roughly 388 season-long points (22.8 implied per game) with his only real competition for targets in Emeka Egbuka dealing with what the team is calling a stable toe sprain, but is likely turf toe (which has a high probability of re-injury). If Godwin can be anywhere close to his 2024 form and Zac Robinson's offense raises Tampa Bay's pace and passing efficiency, Godwin can turn a mid-round WR38 cost into a stable weekly WR2 with occasional WR1 outcomes.
