If you had a checklist of what you want to happen during the offseason for a second-year running back, Tuten would check every box. Considering he is still going outside RB2 territory, I don't want to leave a draft without him this season.

Travis Etienne Jr. (RB10 finish, 13 TDs) departed to New Orleans; replacement Chris Rodriguez Jr. (5th-round pick, never 500+ rushing yards, 6 career receptions) missed most of June/July with foot injury. Tuten received all first-team reps during Rodriguez's absence with glowing camp reports; head coach Liam Coen said Tuten is primed for a big season and dominated joint practices. The 206-pound back ran 4.32 40-yard dash and holds up in pass protection. Despite Rodriguez's return suggesting a split, his lack of explosive plays and pass-catching should be outshined by Tuten.
