The second-year seventh-rounder missed half of camp with a soft-tissue injury but has avoided injured reserve to begin the season. Updates have been few and far between, but he is expected back sometime in September. Whenever Allen makes his 2026 debut—which could be as early as Week 1—it could be as a pass-catching back with more targets than anyone was expecting.
