Jaylen Waddle is my choice because the market is pricing in what he has been lately instead of what he can become in Denver. The talent has never been the question, and even in a frustrating offensive environment last season, his efficiency metrics still looked like those of a high-end receiver. Now he steps into a much more aggressive passing offense that went out and paid a premium to make him a centerpiece.

Jaylen Waddle at WR22 offers top-10 upside with Denver's aggressive passing offense.

Jaylen Waddle is being undervalued by the market, which is pricing in what he has been lately instead of what he can become in Denver. Tal Malachovsky notes the talent has never been the question, and even in a frustrating offensive environment last season, his efficiency metrics still looked like those of a high-end receiver. Now he steps into a much more aggressive passing offense that paid a premium to make him a centerpiece, which should translate into more volume and more scoring opportunities. If Waddle simply maintains his per-route effectiveness with that added opportunity, he has a very real chance to finish as a top-10 receiver despite being drafted well outside that range. Justin Fuhr has Waddle at WR22 and thinks there is a pretty big gap between where he's being valued and how high this could go.
