During Trevor Lawrence's hot stretch (final seven games, 265 yards and 18 TDs per game), Thomas Jr. played in six games and averaged only 3.0 receptions and 47.8 yards per game, catching just one TD. Much of his rookie production came with Mac Jones at QB; with Lawrence, Thomas Jr. averaged 5.9 targets and 66.1 yards per game (Weeks 1–9), but 10.0 targets and 85.9 yards per game with Mac Jones (Week 10 onward).
