Stafford has a strong track record in international games. In his most recent international appearance (October 2025 vs. Jacksonville in London), he threw five touchdown passes on just 182 passing yards and a 5.5 yards-per-attempt average, completing passes to 10 different receivers despite missing first-team All-Pro Puka Nacua. He faced a season-high 55.9% blitz rate and threw all five touchdowns against the blitz, tying Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield for the most TD passes against the blitz in any game since 2016. His earlier international game was a legendary comeback for Detroit over Atlanta in London, where he engineered one of his five fourth-quarter comebacks that season with touchdown passes to Golden Tate and Theo Riddick.
